2015 Forest Landowners of California Annual Meeting --- Auburn, CA

"Roads and Water - Making It Work!"

Forest Landowners of California Annual Meeting

May 1-2, 2015

Holiday Inn - Auburn, CA

If you have a Nonindustrial Management Plan (NTMP) or plan to harvest with a Timber Harvest Plan (THP) anytime in the near future, this program will provide insight on how your roads will have to be managed to further reduce sediment delivery to streams and meet the intent of the new Board of Forestry Road Rules that went into effect January 2015.  These new rules are going to result initially in higher logging costs with the intent of saving money and effort in the long run with a reduction in future road maintenance costs.

Landowners who are actively managing their property can potentially save costs on post harvest monitoring once they understand how and when some of the work and documentation can be done themselves.
